What do I need to know about pairing this with an existing pack?

Exercise caution when using the Paragon Alloy™ reservoir with packs other than the official BrüMate Paragon. Our pack is custom-designed to provide padding and support, while other packs do not include this feature and may cause injury should you fall.

What beverages are compatible with the hydration system?

Only water is recommended for use in the reservoir. Ice is recommended to keep water colder for longer.

How do I use the ClickSip™ Valve?

How to use the ClickSip valve: 1. To Open: Push the tabs forward using your fingers or by biting the valve tip and pulling with your teeth. 2. Let It Breathe: When using ClickSip without the one-way valve attached, ensure that after sipping, you allow the valve to breathe for a moment. This allows water to fall back into the reservoir to prevent small amounts of water from releasing from the valve after closing. 3. To Close: Push the tabs back toward the closed position until the valve tip stops. Paragon’s technology allows you to choose how you sip. Allow water to fall back into the reservoir between sips or connect the one-way valve (included) to keep the water in the hose.

When should I use the One-Way Valve?

The One-Way valve lets you choose whether the drink is readily available or if it will fall back into the hydration reservoir to ensure it remains protected from the elements. 1. Without Valve: Drink falls back into the reservoir and will not freeze or get warm. 2. With Valve: Drink will stay in the hose and remain susceptible to freezing and warm weather conditions. To assemble the One-Way valve, simply remove the ClickSip valve from the hose and install the One-Way valve directly into the hose. After the One-Way valve is installed, you can then place the ClickSip valve onto the One-Way valve.

How do I clean the hydration system?

All components of the Paragon Hydration System are top-rack dishwasher safe. Here's an overview of how to clean each part of the reservoir: 1. Place the reservoir, valves, hose, straw, lid assembly, and the insulated stainless steel body on the top rack of your dishwasher and wash as normal. 2. Alternatively, you can hand wash the above components with warm water and soap. How is the hydration system sustainable?

With the Paragon Hydration System, you can ditch single-use plastics – no recycling bins needed. The ColdKey™ straw is made of stainless steel to reduce plastic. All components of the reservoir including the straw are top-rack dishwasher safe, so you can save water when you clean it.

Is the hydration system covered under warranty?

Yes, we have a limited 5-year warranty against manufacturer defects.
